Good Job "JC" for the Big J Report-- Hello and welcome to all of our BigJReport.com's followers from Bonnaroo 2022 in Manchester, Tennessee. Day 1 was a HOT one at this year's Roo. 106 degrees at one point. With over 80,000 ppl attending this 4 day Music Festival, It has been 2 long years since Bonnaroo due to Covid and the Flooding last year. Artist on Day 1 did not disappoint the long awaited return of Bonnaroo. With 6 stages surrounding this awesome music festival with over 100 artist performing in 4 days Calder Allen kicked off Bonnaroo for Zac (nephew) and myself. "Good Times" was by far my favorite song Allen performed. Jessie Murph and Adam Melchor kept it going on the other stages as well. Blu DeTiger with her Bass Playing had everyone feeling good. Sawyer was one of my favorite artist on Day 1 as well. Sawyer had the crowd forgetting about the sweltering heat. The Brook and the Bluff had the crowd from their first note. Amazing "Live" band as well as the rest on Day 1. Everyone was a having a good time. On a personal note, I am one of the biggest Buffalo Bills fans on the planet. It was so cool to see so many Bills Mafia in attendance in Tennessee for Bonnaroo 2022. Day 1 was amazing for this first time Bonnaroo attendee. Getting ready for Day 2 soon. JC from lakeeufaulahits.com reporting for bigjreport.com   -  Hello from Bonnaroo on this Day 2 in Manchester Tennessee.  The crowd is massive again on this cooler 81 degrees compared to Day 1 at 106. Great music everywhere on these packed 6 stages scattered everywhere on the festival grounds. Bristol Maroney and Tove Lo sounded so good with crowds going crazy and wanting more. Maroney covered "Today", Smashing Pumpkins song, and the Roo crowd erupted. Japanese Breakfast, Zac's choice of a band to see at Bonnaroo was AMAZING. One of my favorites so far. The War on Drugs was so good as well. So many great bands to choose from when walking around. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard Rocked the house down. Very energetic band. The Chicks (formerly) The Dixie Chicks were unbelievable. Natalie's voice was so great "Live". I personally did not care for the "political stunt" being showed on screen at the near end. Take that ridiculous aspect out of the show, hands down would have been the Best Performance at Bonnaroo in two days. Can't wait for Day 3 on Saturday. See you there. JC    Earlier article from Bonnaroo when the week started....  Hello from Bonnaroo 2022 Festival Grounds in Manchester, Tennessee. Approximately around 100 Bands performing "Live" on 6 different stages in a 4 day period starting today, Thursday June 15,2022 and wrapping up Sunday Night with legendary Stevie Nicks. More updates later today from Bonnaroo 2022. JC-  Here's another Update from Bonnaroo, J.C., what you got?  Hello from Bonnaroo Music Festival 2022. What a Great 3rd Day and Night of Music we all had at the Farm. Zac and I enjoyed some Great music once again. The weather was great during the day with highs of only 85. The Night was very COOL like all the people here. Low 50's!!! Wanted to say hello to all of the Flume fans who waited patiently in the "Pit" area for hours to get close to Him. TOOL of course, Rocked the Crowd way past after Midnight. The Day really got started with New Zealand's Benee. Benee had the crowd wanting more. The Backseat Lovers were another great band we watched while walking around the 6 different stages set up on the Farm Grounds. Lany was another great band you need to see when you get a chance in the future. I loved "This Tent" stage who had Superjam 1984. Artist at Bonnaroo performed on this stage playing only 1984 songs. Chvrches lead singer Lauren Mayberry performed 2 Madonna songs for Superjam 1984 before heading over to the "Which Stage". Speaking of the band Chvrches, I would have to say by far our favorite Band at Bonnaroo. You must see Chvrches "Live". Getting ready for Day 4 Sunday at Bonnaroo. Can't wait to see you on the Farm. JC (Photos by JC)  Hello from the "Farm". Sunday, Day 4 was Amazing at Bonnaroo. Great Weather, Great Crowds and most of all Great Music. All 6 stages were packed for more great "Live" music from Artist and Groups all over the world. It was great to see bands like All Them Witches, Wallows and Machine Gun Kelly. I had the chance to check out an artist I had previously heard on the madmaxmix.weebly.com on Wednesday Nights. Nathaniel Rateliff. He was totally Awesome "Live". I will go and see him again in the future. Bonnaroo had to save the best for last. Stevie Nicks!!! In 20 years of Bonnaroo's existence, Stevie Nicks was the first female ever to close out Bonnaroo. So glad I had the chance to see her "Live". The MOST HUMBLE artist or group I had ever seen on stage. She thanked the audience several times for coming out. At 74, her voice is still unbelievable "Live". Like I said earlier, they saved the best for last. Stevie Nicks wins this year's "Biggest Crowd" at Bonnaroo 2022. Zac and I had an amazing time listening to so many bands in 4 days at the "Farm". Can't wait to see you again Bonnaroo 2023. MUSIC AND CONCERTS

Some Jacksonville, Florida Concerts...

Our recommendations Of Great shows coming up in the Next few days from your Editor Scott Mullis....

...Keep scrolling down.  This is Neighbors 2 on the Big J Report

Some of the Best Concerts in my memory.....When I was a kid my mom and Dad took me to see John Denver - he sang Rocky Mountain High among other songs. When I was about 19 or 20 saw a Band from Canada at the civic Auditorium which is now known as the Times Union Center- It was a band called April Wine they did a song called "I like to Rock" on the same bill was a group called Frankie and the Knockouts and a group that I liked at the time called Spider... that's how they spelled it. I have now double-checked the spelling. So these are some of my most memorable concerts....A few years later, maybe 5 years later when I was a music Director at KC-93 in St. Marys, Georgia I saw Ted Nugent and Aerosmith at the jacksonville Coliseum....I also saw the legendary Hall and Oates at the Jacksonville Coliseum back in the 1980's. I moved away from Jacksonville for a good period of time....I saw the Atlanta Rhythm Section in Eufaula, AL. a few years before lead singer "Ronnie Hammond passed away. Saw Charlie Daniels in Alabama at a Show I MC'd

at what they called a Farm Center in Barbour County. Saw Molly Hatchet and ARS in Albany, Georgia. When I moved back to Jacksonville saw the Alan Parsons Project probably the best show I have seen in awhile, liked them soo much saw them twice at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, saw Boz Scaggs always wanted to see him, saw the Boz at the Florida Theatre. My bucket list got a check mark when I saw Steely Dan in 2013 at the St. Augustine Ampitheatre. Also saw Natalie Merchant at the Florida Theatre....famous for the song "Carnival" she use to be in the group 10,000 Maniacs. And saw a very Energetic band Called Night Ranger from the 4th Row at the Florida Theatre. I have been blessed to see so many Great Shows. By Scott Mullis.   Scroll down to see some of the latest upcoming shows here in the area....

Free Concert at the Beaches back on Sunday, April 7th, 2019....and the Story from Big J Report Contributor "Buz Boote" aka B-Buz....

Last Sunday I went to Springing the Blues in Jacksonville Beach. It was a beautiful day, admission was free and the music was great.  I was able to go on Sunday and I hope to go to all three days next year.

My favorite group was a band called Die Dra.  The singer was very soulful and the guitar player could have shown jmi a thing or two.

Finally, I hope the amorous couple in front of me found a room.

The Rolling Stones much awaited Concert was held at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, FL. back on Friday night, July 19th, 2019....The Reviews are out, thumbs up and HIGH Marks! for the Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger was sensational and the instrumentation from the mostly 70's something Rolling Stones band members was incredibly good. South Alabama ITF Tennis Tournament

As the qualifying rounds came to an end Tuesday evening the Main Draw began play on Tuesday Night. The #1 Seed and last year's champion Taylor Townsend makes a quick exit off the clay courts in Dothan, Alabama by falling to Sesil Karatantcheva in straight sets 6-4 6-2. Karatantcheva dominated from the start and Townsend never really got into a rhythm. So the #1 Seed goes down with the first overall match of the tournament. Could #2 Seed Madison Brengle now become the favorite? Brengle will be on Stadium Court Tonight (Wednesday) to face-off with the "Russian Beauty" Sofya Zhuk. Without a doubt the best first round main draw matchup. Good luck to all the ladies in this year's 2019 Hardee's Pro Tennis Classic. Come on out to Day 3 on this beautiful Wednesday at Westgate Tennis Center in Dothan, Alabama. (Sofya Zhuk vs Madison Brengle Photo Courtesy JC).
