After moving away for many years your editor moved back to his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida in 2011. Since then, I have seen a few shows at the historic Florida Theatre a Jacksonville Treasure that opened way back in 1927.  A few years ago 

the Theatre was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places back in 1982. Since moving back in 2011 I have seen a few shows at the historic Florida Theatre, including: Natalie Merchant, Boz Scaggs, Kenny G, Night Ranger"They were very good full of energy" But the best show I ever saw there was Alan Parsons incredible songs and instrumentation it was with a loved one that has now since passed away. Never forget that night, we even had dinner at the Italian place located only a block from the Theatre before the show. A night like that, a special memory is what the Florida Theatre ecompasses. Fire July 4th morning in Brooklyn, Riverside area in Jacksonville, Florida at a vacant building on Edison Avenue across the street from the Florida Blue Building. Took approximately 35 fire fighters put out the Blaze, fire was reported at approximatey 5:30 A.M. on July 4th morning, 2017
